The circular economy has become a pop phenomenon with the Italian group Elio & Le Storie Tese.
For Legambiente, Italy’s chief environmental organisation, we came up with the idea for an infinite, repeatable song which is about an economy that does not create waste and we have involved a group that had announced after years of releasing records and giving concerts that they wanted to “dissolve like snow in the sunshine”. The song was taken up and reinvented by dozens of bands throughout Italy in an ideal circular relay.
